When a 2 year old dresses herself...

Kinzie insisted on dressing herself this morning. She didn't do too bad until she insisted on wearing her purple stocking hat (and it's pretty warm out), her sunglasses and her pacifier (that we would really like to throw out!)

Here are Kinzie's 2 year old pictures. Surprisingly they turned out really well! Kinzie was not happy for the first 15 - 20 minutes that we were there because she wanted a little bubbles machine that we had taken to work but it wasn't working! So the photographer pulled out the beads and all of a sudden... Kinzie turned into a diva! Hope you enjoy them!

Her True Colors

I had to share these pictures of Kinzie from after church today. I think they show her true colors... a very small part girly girl (i.e. sunglasses and dress) and part tomboy (i.e. tennis shoes with her dress!) Don't worry Grandmas... she didnt wear tennis shoes to church, but that's the first thing she put on when she got home!! Anyway.. I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter. Kinzie's Birthday Party

Our little girl turned 2 today! It's hard to believe that it has been two years!! I rocked her to sleep tonight thinking about how much has changed in the past year alone and even more since she was born! It's been a crazy year but each day I'm more thankful for her. My meningitis scare in December has made me come to appreciate each day and not take anything for granted. We had a wonderful weekend with family and friends celebrating McKinzie. Here are a few (ok.. a lot) of pictures from her party.

These are two of my new favorite pictures! Kinzie has always loved to wear Jason's hat. This was her when he came home from umpiring yesterday. She is sitting in her new chair that she got from grammy and papa for her birthday. I'm working on getting the rest of pictures of from her party but the rest will probably come tomorrow because I still have to go get treats for her to take to school tomorrow... and it's after 9pm already!

Last night we took Kinzie swimming at my parent's hotel. She had soo much fun! We can't wait til it's warm enough to swim more often.

Here are some pictures of Kinzie and her buddy Riley. We checked out the Midwest Kidsfest a few weeks ago. The girls played in a pretend house, petted snakes and alligators and went on pony rides. They had fun playing with each other.
